COURSES OF STUDY (B Ed & M Ed Courses) FEES & MODE OF PAYMENT
The College is a composite institution offering B Ed ( 2-Year) course with annual intake of 200 seats and M Ed (2-year) course with 50 seats annually. The college will follow course of study of the Manipur University. The sessional fees will be notified at the time of selection for admission and payments are to be made for the whole term annually. Admitted candidates, who fail to pass or to present himself/herself, shall not be entitled to claim refund of the fees paid.
ELIGIBILITY FOR B ED & M ED ADMISSION
The candidates seeking admission to B.Ed. course must have a bachelor’s degree or higher degree in sciences, social sciences, Humanities from a recognized University securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Sciences and Mathematic with 55%. There shall be relaxation of marks in the case of ST, SC, OBC and minority candidates as per rules laid down by Manipur University and NCTE from time to time.
The candidates seeking admission to M.Ed. course must have at least 50% of marks in B.Ed/ B Ed/ BA B Ed/ B Sc B Ed/ B El Ed/ D El Ed with undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each) There shall be relaxation of marks in the case of ST, SC, OBC and minority candidates as per rules laid down by Manipur University and NCTE from time to time.
SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION
The B Ed admission of the College shall be made on merit of the qualifying examination (50 %) and the entrance test (50%) of the college. The Entrance Test shall be examined in General English (40 marks), General Knowledge ( 35 marks of multiple choice schools subjects, GK etc ) and Teaching Aptitude (25 marks of multiple choice). The date of Entrance Test will be notified in due time.
The M Ed admission of the College shall be made on merit of the qualifying examination (50 %) and the entrance test (50%) of the college. The Entrance Test shall be examined in General English (30 marks), General Knowledge (45 marks of multiple choice based on B Ed Course, GK etc ) and Teaching Aptitude (25marks of multiple choice). The date of Entrance Test will be notified in due time.
